Day One
This morning we were met with some of the most challenging conditions a field trialer could be expected to deal with. The temperature dropped to a chilling 30 degrees with blowing mist and all out rain. Mid day the harsh conditions lessoned and gave way to sunshine and the temperature rose into the mid 40s. Nevertheless, the handlers and dogs overcame these extreme conditions as one would expect from an open invitational stake. Having said that lets cut to the chase:
