Judges Ron Fields and Ben Dillard named Bryant Town Snake Eye, 41/2 year old pointer male, owned by Roger Bryant of Farnham, Virginia and handled by Johnny Lewis , also of Farnham, the 2010/2011 U S Complete National Amateur Invitational Champion. True Patroit, an 8 year old setter male owned and handled by Kellie Short of Boxton Maine was named Runner Up. The champion and runner up ran in the first brace of the 4 dog call back this morning with both scoring on birds 4 times with Snake Eye backing once and Patroit backing twice.
This was one of the finest braces of dogs that I have watched in several years! The kind of a brace that makes you stand up in the strups.
In addition to Snake Eye and Patroit, Peace Dale Duke, owned by Richie Frisella and handled by Victor Forsith and Yankies Ginny Girl which is owned and was handled by Frank Skut were called back.
