NATIONAL OPEN SHOOTING DOG CHAMPIONSHIP

NATIONAL OPEN SHOOTING DOG CHAMPIONSHIP

The 2011 National Open Shooting Dog Championship will be held at Sedgefields Plantation, Union Springs, Ala., starting February 7.

The return of the Championship to Sedgefields is made possible by Mr. Raymond Harbert, who has put much of the original Sedgefields Plantation back together.

Judges for the event will be Don May and Dr. Joe Maddox, both from Alabama, and Cecil Cole from Texas.

The qualifications and running requirements are the same as they have been for the last several years.

Club officials want to thank Mr. Harbert for his generosity of allowing the National Open Shooting Dog Championship to return to Sedgefields and thank the North Carolina Wildlife Commission and the North Carolina Field Trial Association for allowing the use of the excellent Robert Gordon Field Trials Grounds at Hoffman, N. C., for the past several renewals.
