67th Lake States Grouse Championship

Date : Monday October 24, 2011 * May Start Tuesday If Entries Allow A One Day Deferral.
Location : Gladwin Field Trial Area, Meridith, Mi.
Start Time : 7:45 a.m.
Drawing : Sunday October 23, 2011 @ 7:30 p.m. East Bay Lodge, Prudenville, Mi.
To be run on native Grouse, multiple courses, one hour heats, additional running at the discretion of the judges.
All dogs must have an Open Shooting Dog placement, one hour Michigan Dell Todd Derby placement, or one hour Pennsylvania National Derby placement.
$ 2000.00 Purse * (40 % of Purse will be awarded if there are less than 40 dogs)
Rotating Lake States Bronze Trophy to the winner, plus ribbons, scroll, and certificates to the owner’s of the Winner and Runner-up if named. If a Runner-up is named, purse will be divided 70-30 respectively.

Open Derby: (30 minute multiple courses) 40 % Divided 50-30-20 ………. $ 55.00

Open Puppy: (20 minutes single course) 40 % Divided 50-30-20 ……………. $ 35.00
Puppy Judges: Richard Wyatt and Bob Grassi
The Open Derby will begin following the Championship, but may start earlier if entries dictate!
The Open Puppy will begin Saturday morning.
Lunch will be available on the grounds daily.
