2012 Region 14 Amateur Shooting Dog Championship
The 2012 Region 14 Amateur Shooting Dog Championship completed 15 braces
on May 13, 2012. Judges Neil Mason of Calgary, Alberta and Joey DeGross
of Saratoga, Wyoming crowned the last dog standing from brace 15,
Flatland's By Design, pointer female, owned and handled by Dave Pearson
of Wrentham, Alberta, the Champion. The winner had 3 crisp finds and a
concerted race. Pearson scored a sweep when his Flatland's Tuff Anuff,
pointer dog, was announced the Runner-Up on the merit of his ground race
and a single find. Birds were playing hard to get as the weather was
too perfect but the grounds at Circle, Montana lived up to its legendary
history.
